Hi, I’m Abbie!
I strive to be as prepared as possible to live my life spontaneously.
I love laughter more than any other sound in the world. When you laugh at my jokes, we are friends.
I have a difficult time thinking inside the box.
I’m always asking, “Why?”
Always.
As annoying as it sounds, that’s why I’m here: To ask the “why?” questions…no matter how awkward it gets.
Facts about me in no particular order of importance:
I’m freakishly good at finding four-leaf clovers.
I love anything that involves the outdoors. Hiking, camping, trail running, mountain biking, sitting by a tree, etc. Any time I can get fresh air, count me in.
In 2019, I went from a couch potato to training for my first Spartan Race (And crushed it…along with all my doubts telling me I couldn’t). Now I love staying active.
When I was 9, I cried when my older sister told me I’d never own a horse and was too tall to be a jockey. She was right about me being too tall. I might own a horse one day, but my life goals have changed since then.
One of my favorite places in the world is the library.
During the lifetime of the podcast Bros Before Rose: Men Who Watch the Bachelor, I was their official fact-finder. It started with me sending in my first email telling them I would be their fact finder and led to them flying me out to California to be on the pod/finally meet my modern-day pen pals. https://www.brosbeforerose.com/
I believe chocolate chips are the only way to ruin banana bread.
I don’t think crushed ice should be a thing.
I reside (for now) in Southern Indiana with my sweet and talented husband, Jon, and sassy border collie/lab mix, Marshall. One day we’ll move to the mountains.
